We are a locally owned business looking for a full-time & part-time Custom Picture Framer in our new Medway location. Lead by a Master Certified Picture Framer, John Harry Gaston, Gastonart & Frame provides high level custom picture framing with a focus on conservation and preservation while proving unique designs and creative picture framing solutions.
Duties include: designing, selling and fabricating custom picture frames to meet customer expectations and company standards.
Prior picture framing experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person. Candidates must be customer focused and have the ability to communicate design concepts effectively with both customers and co-workers. A solid understanding of color, composition and design is imperative. Attention to detail and the ability to measure accurately is critical. Wood working and comfort using power tools is preferred. Ability to work Saturday is a must. We are a retail business that makes everything we sell. so candidates must be able to spend long periods of time on your feet. Ability to work Saturday is a must.
